Lowhen Consulting offers a number of different ways to help you through the different types of recruitment and selection interview.

We can provide tailored programmes from one to one workshops to fully supported coaching programmes lasting a number of months. Please email brief details of your situation and ideally a copy of your CV to arrange an initial telephone conversation.

One of our most popular course is a one to one half day workshop: Interviewee - Assessment and Training . Spending time working through your interview concerns and assessment of how you can improve with a careers professional. The outline is given below and the objectives are tailored to the needs of the individual.

 

Face To Face Interviewee Assessment and Training    

The training runs for three to four hours and involves:

A 40 minute assessment interview by the tutor;

Identification of areas of concern for the attendee;

Professional assessment by the tutor;

Training in relevant interview techniques e.g. competency and behavioural based interviewing; panel interviewing; presentations;

Strategies for overcoming problems identified and nervousness

How to prepare thoroughly for the interview.

This is then followed by practice interview questions with the tutor offering advice for improvement.

The course includes: a course handbook on interview skills, a written report detailing strengths for interviews and areas to work on and one month of email support so attendee can email questions for advice by the course tutor.
